Karsten D. Voigt
has been coordinator of German-American Cooperation at the Federal Foreign Ministry in Berlin from 1999 until 2009. Over the course of his long career in politics, he has held several important positions: he was a member of the Bundestag and performed a managerial role at NATO. This experience has afforded him a sophisticated view of transatlantic affairs, which he has brought to bear in his work as a board member at Atlantik-Brücke e.V., the Aspen Institute Berlin and at the RAND Europe think tank.
