Dr. Christine Brinck
a PhD in comparative higher education, is an author and journalist for the German national media. She writes for the Süddeutsche Zeitung, FAS and Die ZEIT. She spent her post-doc year at American universities and has since lived in the U.S. from time to time. She is a member of the supervisory board of the Transatlantic Academy. With in-depth knowledge of both countries and their educational systems, her focus has always been the transfer of good ideas from North America to Europe. Apart from her interest in higher education, she has in recent years participated in the debate on early learning and published "The Mommy Wars" (Mütterkriege, Herder, 2007). Christine Brinck lives in Munich. She is married and has two daughters.
