Lecture by Ahmet Davutoğlu

During the 136th Bergedorf Round Table (Istanbul, February 23 - 25, 2007) Ahmet Davutoğlu, Senior Advisor to the Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, held a lecture on Turkish policy in the Middle East. A revised version of this lecture was published in "Die Zeit" on July 5th 2007 under the title "Pfadfinder in der Wüstensonne" .

In the article Davutoğlu explains the principles of the Turkish foreign policy in the Middle East and develops a vision of European-Turkish cooperation in the region. In September, the unabridged lecture will be published in the 136th Bergedorf Protocol in the edition Körber-Stiftung.
