Körber Network Foreign Policy with Dr. Benedikta von Seherr-Thoß and Dr. Christoph Grams

Even eleven years after the beginning of the ISAF mission, efforts to stabilize Afghanistan are progressing slowly. In spite of high investments in the build-up of military and civil structures it is still unclear whether the Afghan army will be able to grant the country’s security after the withdrawal of the international troops in 2014. “Is Afghanistan ready for the disengagement of troops?” This question was discussed by the members of the Körber Network Foreign Policy, Dr. Benedikta von Seherr-Thoß, Political Advisor to NATO Senior Civilian Representative in Afghanistan, and Dr. Christoph Grams, Policy Advisor to Roderich Kiesewetter (MP). Both are themselves long-standing members of the Körber Network Foreign Policy.
