David Shambaugh about the foreign policy strategy of China

On Saturday afternoon the Munich Young Leaders met with David Shambaugh, Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at The George Washington University (GWU) in Washington, D.C. Professor Shambaugh, who is director of the China Policy Program at GWU and a distinguished expert on China, outlined the strategic options available to the US and the European Union in the face of the steady increase in China’s importance on the global stage. Additionally, the foreign policy strategy of China was examined in detail.
