Dr. Manouchehr Mohammadi, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, addressed members of the German Bundestag as well as representatives of the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Foreign Office and selected think tanks on the role of Iran in the Middle East. He elaborated on the Iranian position on developments in Iraq, Afghanistan and Lebanon as well as in the conflict surrounding the Iranian nuclear programme.
The Political Breakfast with Dr. Manouchehr Mohammadi continues the Körber Foundation’s tradition of a dialogue with Iran. This series includes the Political Breakfasts with Dr. Hassan Rohani , member of the Supreme National Security Council, the Expediency Council and the Assembly of Experts of the Islamic Republic of Iran and President of the Center for Strategic Research, Dr. Saeed Jalili , General Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council, Alaeddin Boroujerdi , Chairman of the Iranian Parliament’s Committee on National Security and Foreign Affairs, as well as the field trip of the Körber Network Foreign Policy to Iran.
