Background Discussion with Pawel Zalewski

The EU’s foreign policy was the focus of a Background Discussion with Pawel Zalewski, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee in the Polish Parliament, the Sejm, and deputy of the governing Law And Justice Party (PiS).

Mr. Zalewski spoke with German parliamentarians and senior government officials on EU policy toward Russia, the European Neighborhood Policy toward the Eastern European states, the American plan to install an anti-missile shield facility on Polish territory, and German-Polish frictions relating to the Baltic Sea gas pipeline.
