On the occasion of his inaugural visit to Germany, Dr. Mehdi Safari, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, discussed with members of the German Bundestag as well as representatives of the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Foreign Office and selected think tanks the current state of German-Iranian as well as EU-Iranian relations. He also elaborated on the Iranian position with regard to current developments in the Middle East.
The Political Background Discussion with Dr. Mehdi Safari continues the Körber Foundation’s tradition of a dialogue with Iran.
