The Iranian nuclear program
H.E. Dr. Ali Asghar Soltanieh, Permanent Representative of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), met with members of the German Bundestag as well as with representatives of federal ministries, government agencies and selected think tanks to discuss the challenges and opportunities with regard to the conflict over the Iranian nuclear program. Particular emphasis was placed on the need of confidence-building measures in order to establish mutual trust between Iran and the West.
