At the Political Breakfasts, high-ranking members of the Berlin foreign policy community conduct confidential background discussions with leading politicians from abroad.

High-ranking speakers, among them heads of state, foreign ministers and other influential politicians from the Middle East, Eastern Europe and the CIS states, discuss current political topics with a selected circle of foreign and security policy decision-makers, especially from the German Parliament, the Federal Foreign Office, the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Ministry of Defence and selected think tanks. For the speakers, the Political Breakfasts constitute an opportunity to conduct a confidential 90-minute discussion with key decision-makers in German foreign and security policy.
