USable Transatlantic Idea Competition
Movers found – exemplary engagement of the generation 50+
The selection committee of the idea competition has identified a new generation of "USable movers": 20 projects were selected out of 238 applications. The initiators of these projects were honoured on 25th of June in the Körber Forum in Hamburg. 20.000€ of prize money were handed over to three of the projects. Living where I belong to. Volunteers are visiting seniors in Göttingen and the surrounding rather rural area and explain them about possibilities of adapting your apartment to needs of ageing.

All 20 chosen “movers” and their projects will be part of the USable network for the next two years. They will be invited regularly by the Körber Foundation for capacity buildings and network meetings.
