On 5 September the Körber Foundation awarded the Körber European Science Prize 2014 to May-Britt and Edvard Moser at Hamburg City Hall. The Norwegian researchers were honoured for their pioneering work in the field of brain research. Now the married couple, together with the British brain researcher, will receive the Nobel Prize in Medicine from the Swedish king on 10 December. As Karolinska Institutet in Stockholm has announced, the scientists are receiving the award for their research into the human sense of orientation.
