Körber Network Foreign Policy – Field Trip to Kosovo

October 29 - November 1, 2005

By visiting Pristina, Prizren, and Belgrade, the group gained a personal understanding of the situation at the outset of negotiations on the status of Kosovo. Participants met heads of state and government (Kosovo Prime Minister Bajram Kosumi, Serbian President Boris Tadic, and Foreign Minister of Serbia and Montenegro Vuk Draskovic), representatives of the international community (i.e. the deputy leader of UNMIK Larry Rossin, the Commandant of Prizren General Norbert Stier, and police officers), as well as representatives of the region's ethnic communities.
