Political Breakfast with H.E. Jens Stoltenberg

Berlin, 15 June 2018

As in 2016 and 2017, in advance of this year’s Summit in Brussels NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg met with members of the German Bundestag, representatives of several ministries and think tanks at Körber Foundation. The Secretary General offered his perspective on current tensions in transatlantic relations and their implications for the future of the alliance. Further topics included Germany’s future role within NATO as well as NATO’s relations with Russia and China.

Körber Foundation regularly invites a small circle of high-ranking actors within Berlin’s foreign policy community to its Political Background Discussions. As at the Bergedorf Round Tables, the discussions take place in a confidential setting, so as to enable a frank and constructive exchange.
