Reflections on Russia in the World

From 7th – 9th September, the Munich Young Leaders Alumni held their 7th Reunion in Moscow. For two days, the young leaders – comprising of more than 50 Russian and international experts from governments, parliaments, think tanks, journalism and businesses – spoke with members of politics, administration, civil society and economy.

Körber Conference “Russia in Europe”

Russian-European relations are the central theme of the Körber Conference in November 2017. The common past and current challenges for “Russia in Europe” will be discussed by renown experts such as the former Polish Prime Minister Włodzimierz Cimoszewicz and the Russian Permanent Representative to the EU Vladimir Chizhov as well as Nobel laureate for literature Herta Müller.

Russia is not a follower country

Russia continues to have an imperial mentality and acts accordingly, explains Russian American Professor Nina Khrushcheva in our interview. The dream of a "common European house" for her is – despite the challenges – perhaps the only possibility in the future.
