Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi held speech in Berlin

During his visit to Germany, Mohamed Mursi, President of Egypt, gave a speech on 30 January in Berlin at a meeting organized by the Körber Foundation. The audience was up of about 200 invited guests. They included politicians, government representatives, experts, journalists, and members of civil society organizations and of the younger generation. Mursi underlined several times that the media reports unfortunately did not always depict what was going on in Egypt with a fair degree of accuracy. The ensuing discussion with the audience was moderated by Georg Mascolo, the editor-in-chief of the DER SPIEGEL news magazine.
